The Long Sault Motel is home to the Canadian Carp Club, a specialist carp fishing organization.

The long Sault area with the multiple islands and bays of the Parkway have created one of the greatest natural spawning grounds for carp, and has produced one of the finest carp fishing areas in the world.

Carp are numerous, big and powerful, but lousy to eat. Long Sault attracts carp anglers from all over the world and welcomes Canadian and American based anglers to try out this exciting form of sport fishing.

We have a fully stocked on site carp store, with equipment rental facilities, guides/instructors and all the latest tackle and bait from the UK. We have "starter kits" including 12 ft Carp rod, bait runner style reel, bite alarm, bank stick, leads, hooks line etc for $135.00, along with all the top brand names.

Tackle hire for the day is $20.00 (lost or broken tackle must be paid for)

Or for those new to Carp we can arrange a full 8 hours or a 4-hour ½ "Carping Session" including tackle hire, bait and guide. Prices vary according to the number in the party, but we offer a no catch, no pay guarantee.
